Project Overview

The Hibulb Cultural Center and Natural History Preserve maintains the history of the Tulalip Tribes by telling stories of the past to future generations. The approximately 7,500 square feet of gallery space features tribal carvings, an interactive exhibit within a Tulalip Longhouse, two natural dioramas, and more than 300 artifacts. As the Cultural Center is the only certified repository for Native American artifacts in the state of Washington, conservation is a major focus. Our team worked closely alongside a conservator to display items from this rich archaeological collection, including a 10,000-year-old basket fragment and half totems that were the original markers to the entry of the Tulalip Reservation.
